| Where can I site my skip?
It is better if you are able to site your skip off road on private property i.e. your driveway or privately owned garden.
If you are not able to do this you can consider siting the skip on the road or grass verge outside your property. However - to do this you will need permission from your local council and it is very likely that you have to pay for a permit to do so.
Are there any Skip waste restrictions?
Certain types of hazardous waste e.g. asbestos, fridge/freezers, paint tins, batteries, tyres, gas bottles, TV’s. fluorescent tubes etc cannot be placed in general waste skips under any circumstance. If in doubt consult the Environmental Agency website. |
